OTTO 958, a collaborative project between the London-based fashion house Kiko Kostadinov and the international art gallery Moran Moran, re-imagines the Protoblast for its second footwear collaboration with ASICS Sportstyle.
The ASICS PROTOBLAST-CMLVIII features the signature OTTO 958 raised embroidered O mark on the toe box and the full logo flat embroidered on the sidewalls. The tooling and toe design channel inspiration from the GELHOOP 6 volleyball shoe. Mirroring the NOVABLAST 2 running shoe's cushioning, the sneaker is re-calibrated for contemporary living. Midfoot details mirror the design elements from the GEL-100 running series. FLYTEFOAM Blast cushioning is tuned specifically for daily use.
The cushioning is designed to absorb impact without feeling too soft or too firm, asics neutral walking shoes.
